Why was the buy GTT order rejected?

GTT buy orders are rejected when funds are insufficient at the time of execution โ€” even if you had enough when placing the order. Learn how to avoid GTT rejections on 021 Trade.

A GTT (Good Till Triggered) Order can be rejected for several reasons, with insufficient funds being one of the most common.

You can place a GTT order even if you do not have sufficient funds in your account at the time of creating it. However, when the trigger price is reached and the order is activated for execution, your account must have enough funds to process the trade.

If sufficient funds are not available at the time the order is triggered, the GTT order will be rejected. To avoid this, ensure that adequate funds are maintained in your account before the trigger price is reached.
