Why an Order May Remain Pending on Carbon

There are two common reasons why an order may remain in a pending state on the Carbon platform:

1. Limit Order

A limit order will remain pending until the market price reaches the price specified by the client. The order is executed only when the desired price is matched in the market.

2. Circuit Limit

If a stock hits its upper or lower circuit limit, trading may become restricted due to lack of buyers or sellers. In such cases, your order will remain pending until:

• The circuit limit is revised.
• Market conditions allow execution.
