The OHLC values on daily and hourly charts may differ because they are based on different data sources.
- Daily charts use BHAVCOPY data provided by the exchange. This file contains all transactions for the entire trading day and is finalized after the market closes.
- Hourly and minute charts, on the other hand, are created using live market data feeds during trading hours. These feeds may not capture every single trade tick.
Because of this difference in how the data is collected and processed, small variations can occur in the OHLC values between daily charts and intraday charts (hourly or minute).
