What is the validity of the CDSL authorisation?
The CDSL Transaction Personal Identification Number (TPIN) authorization is valid for one day, allowing clients to authorize their the sale of all their holdings as required using the same TPIN. Authorizations can be made between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM and will be applied to trades for that day. For After Market Orders (AMOs), clients can pre-authorize the sale of their holdings after 5:00 PM, for which the orders will be placed at the next trading day.
