What is the Most Important Terms and Conditions page in the account opening forms?
As per SEBI Circular SEBI/HO/MIRSD/MIRSD-PoD-1/P/CIR/2023/180 dated November 13, 2023, and NSE Circular NSE/INSP/59367 and BSE notice no. 20231115-1, all new clients being onboarded from April 1, 2024 must acknowledge and sign the Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC) as part of the account opening process.
The MITC contains key terms related to trading accounts, margin obligations, DDPI, fund and securities settlement, broker-client responsibilities, and grievance redressal process.
