A Demat account works like a bank account, but instead of holding money, it stores your securities and investments such as shares, bonds, and mutual funds in electronic form.
To open a Trading and Demat account offline with 021 Trade, you need to submit the following KYC documents:
1. Proof of Identity (POI)
- PAN Card (mandatory)
- Passport, Driving License, Aadhaar Card or Voter ID
- Government-issued Photo ID card
- Bank verification letter with photograph (if required)
2. Proof of Address (POA)
- Aadhaar Card
- Driving License/Passport/Voter ID
- NREGA Job Card (only for offline account opening)
- National Population Register (NPR) Letter (only for offline account opening)
Note: The address proof must be valid and updated with your current address, and the document should not be older than 3 months.
3. Proof of Bank Account
- Latest bank statement showing your name and account number
- Personalized cancelled cheque leaf with signature
4. Proof of Income (Required only if you want to trade in Futures & Options)
- Income Tax Return (ITR) acknowledgement copy
- Bank statement for the last 6 months (Minimum balance โน10000)
- Latest salary slip
- Holding Statement (DP holding more than โน10000)
Once all the required documents are submitted and verified by 021 Trade, your Trading and Demat account will be opened.
