The following steps will help you enable your camera for In-Person Verification (IPV) during the account opening process on a laptop or mobile device:
On Laptop:
- Open the IPV link shared during the account opening process in your browser (Google Chrome is recommended).
- Once the page loads, a pop-up will appear asking for permission to access your camera.
- Click on “Allow” to grant access.
- If the camera does not start:
- Click on the lock icon next to the website address.
- Go to Site Settings → Camera → Select “Allow”.
- Ensure your laptop’s camera is not covered and is functioning properly.
On Mobile (Android or iPhone):
- Open the IPV link using your mobile browser or account opening app.
- A pop-up will appear requesting camera access.
- Tap on “Allow”.
- If permission was denied or missed:
- Go to your phone Settings.
- Open App Permissions / Privacy Settings.
- Select the browser/app you are using → Camera → Allow.
- Make sure your mobile camera is clean and working properly.
