Can a person over the age of 18 open a 021 Trade account if they have a minor PAN card?
No, an individual who is 18 years or older cannot open a 021 Trade account using a minor PAN card. Once a person attains the age of 18, it is mandatory to update the PAN status from minor to major by submitting the required documents to the Income Tax Department.
At 021 Trade, only a valid major PAN (in the individual’s own name) is accepted for opening a trading and Demat account.
